Job Description:
Want to create the world's best mobile games? We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our team. Our games are adored by hundreds of millions of people, and you'll be helping build them—as well as contribute to the engines, systems and platforms that make them play brilliantly on any platform.
Role within the team:
Part of the Meta Product Area in Candy Crush Soda Saga, together with your colleagues you will have a part in creating and maintaining brilliant gaming experiences for our players.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing and testing new or optimizing existing game features
- Taking an active part in feature creation
- Taking accountability for the technical metrics of the work items you deliver
- Contributing high quality and well-structured code to our global code base
Who you are:
- Strong knowledge in C++
- High sense of quality, polish and pride in the work you deliver
- Excited by taking technical ownership of projects, breaking them down into manageable tasks and ensuring their completion
Bonus points:
- Passionate about games and would love to create the next big thing
- Experience with Android or iOS development
- Experience in working with memory / performance critical applications
- Experience working with complex systems that interact with other features or parts of a project
