About the Role
Main challenge
As a Junior Game Designer, you will contribute to the creation and optimization of engaging gameplay experiences across various mobile game projects. You'll have the opportunity to work on real products, balancing player enjoyment, retention, and monetization while collaborating closely with experienced game development professionals.
What it means on a daily basis
- Design and implement gameplay features, level layouts, and game content under the guidance of senior team members.
- Analyze games, market trends, and player behaviors to improve game design quality and propose new ideas.
- Collaborate with artists, programmers, producers, and other stakeholders to bring creative concepts to life.
- Participate in game testing, balancing, and quality reviews to ensure an optimal player experience.
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing, process improvements, and design documentation.

- Senior Game Designers and Studio Game Designer Lead for mentorship and design reviews.
- Producers to align on project goals, priorities, and quality expectations.
- Artists and Programmers to implement gameplay features and creative vision.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Good understanding of game design fundamentals, including gameplay mechanics, level design, and UI/UX.
- Knowledge of mobile gaming market trends, player behavior, and target audiences.
- Understanding of game retention strategies, monetization models, and reward systems.
- Ability to balance game systems and economies.
- Basic programming knowledge to understand game implementation and scripts.
- Photoshop skills for creating mockups, UI concepts, and design proposals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to create clear and effective design documentation and presentations.

- Passionate about video games with a deep understanding of both current trends and classic games.
- Creative thinker who enjoys designing new gameplay experiences and solving design challenges.
- Effective communicator with strong presentation and pitching skills.
- Collaborative team player who enjoys learning from others and sharing knowledge.
- Strong storytelling ability and attention to player experience.
- Good English communication skills.
