About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Clearly communicate and advocate for the game's core pillars, ensuring alignment across all teams.
- Proactively drive design initiatives, taking ownership of core systems and features to realize the game vision.
- Design and iterate on engaging gameplay mechanics, systems, and features that deliver on the game vision.
- Apply your expertise in premium, multi-platform game design, with a strong understanding of live service or early access models.
- Collaborate closely with art, engineering, and production leads, providing clear and timely communication on design progress and challenges.
- Provide insightful, constructive feedback on design documents and game builds, prioritizing issues for effective resolution.
- Effectively communicate and advocate for design solutions to peers, leadership, and stakeholders.
- Generate innovative game concepts and features within defined constraints (time, IP, genre).
- Develop compelling game and feature pitches for both new and existing IPs, presenting to a cross-functional team.
- Prototype and implement gameplay features and systems using Unreal Engine tools (Blueprints, Sequencer, etc.) and our internal development pipeline.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, fostering their growth and contributing to the overall team skill level.
