About the Role

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON​

Main challenge Support the creation of high-quality game environments that meet both artistic vision and technical standards for console and mobile games. This role requires balancing visual quality, optimization, and production timelines while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

What it means on a daily basis

  • Create and texture environment assets including terrain, architecture, props, and landmarks based on concepts and technical requirements
  • Produce both high poly and low poly organic/hard-surface models for game environments
  • Own environment/level production tasks while collaborating with Design, Art Leads, and other departments
  • Support material, shader, and PBR lighting setup for real-time game environments
  • Optimize assets and workflows while ensuring visual quality and technical correctness

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED​

  • Proficient in 3ds Max or Maya, Photoshop, and traditional modelling/texturing workflows
  • Strong environment modelling and texture production experience for console/mobile games
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine, Unity, or CryEngine
  • Experience with Substance Designer and Substance Painter
  • Skilled in PBR asset creation and lighting workflows
  • Ability to create both high poly and low poly assets
  • Having proven years of experience in video game production and understanding of game art standards

Nice to have

  • ZBrush, lighting/animation/concept art/shader creation, or additional 2D/3D & motion graphics software
