About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Drive game production across a diverse range of asset types, including backgrounds, icons, and UI
- Adapt to evolving technologies, including AI, and integrate new tools and production workflows effectively
- Partner closely with Art and Design teams to craft fun, engaging player experiences
- Manage priorities effectively while staying organized and agile in a fast-paced environment
- Clearly articulate, present, and defend design decisions to cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in game art, design, or production**
- Strong 2D art skills, supported by a portfolio that demonstrates range, creativity, and exploration of diverse visual ideas, including the use of AI tools
- Solid understanding of art fundamentals, including composition, color, lighting, and rendering styles
- Experience working within game production pipelines, with a good grasp of asset optimization techniques
- Familiarity with Unity or similar game engines
- A genuine passion for playing and understanding games
- Strong awareness of market trends and industry standards, industry standards, and the ability to translate them into relevant creative outputs
